Draw near to God, while He may be found’

In the church, it’s not a message that is preached that often – and yet Jesus talked about this event so often, and many of the New Testament books write about this incredible event.

The event – Jesus is coming back soon!
Recently I was thinking how I had read about the Anti-Christ, and how the bodies of the two Witnesses, (Moses & Elijah), were slain on the streets of Jerusalem. Immediately the whole world saw these live pictures and rejoiced – even sending gifts and having parties in celebration.
The book of Revelation was written nearly two thousand years ago, at a time where it took a message days to reach another city. Yet its author, John wrote that the whole world would see the event ‘live’, which we now know is through the TV, YouTube, and iPhone etc.
It is clear, we are in the last days.
Even the way people responded to death was strange, celebrating having parties. Yet, in the UK we saw a certain ‘society’, celebrating with street parties over the death of one of our recent British leaders. How strange to celebrate a death – and yet, if people can celebrate the death of what many class as a great British leader, then imagine how easy it is to see how people will celebrate the death of two preachers.
Only recently, death on the streets was visible for all to see with the brutal killing of a British soldier by two Muslims in London – and then for this to be sent all over the world in seconds for people to watch from their living rooms.
So, its easy to imagine how this future event can soon unfold in Jerusalem. Today, is a day where there is still time to Call on the only Living, Son of God – Jesus Christ. Call on Him today, repent and ask Him to come into your life, to forgive you of your sins and believe that He died on the cross for you.
